Hey y'all! I'm Heather, the owner and fashion designer here at The Cracked Teacup. This project serves as a creative outlet for my artistic whims as well as a opportunity to learn about retail marketing and the POD industry.
I live near Charleston, SC with my two teenage sons, a three-legged great dane, and my own personal zoo. I am a graduate student pursuing a master's in digital marketing and, as of recently, a children's book author. My latest release is Wings for Your Heart, a picture book intended to help readers heal from childhood trauma.
I see wings as a symbol of hope, a reminder that we can always rise again and fly. I think that's why I like fairies so much. They are visual representations of the magic in every heart. That's what makes them so beautiful and captivating.
At least 5–8 kids per classroom are actively dealing with serious family dysfunction or trauma--and even more are recovering from past hurts. My book aims to help these children reconnect with hope and self-love. You can help. For every $15 donated, I will donate TWO copies of Wings for Your Heart to a school or public library.
